Work info

Printer Trails are a series of drawings created using a 3D printer with ballpoint pens attached to the print head in place of the typical filament. Each drawing documents the progress of the printer as it works through a 3D file over the course of several hours. The resulting images capture the printer's movements and display the translation of the 3D object into 2D, as well as traces of the machine's computational logic and algorithmic decision-making processes.
