Ghost Array explores the sensitivity of a smartphone image sensor to wavelengths of light beyond the visible spectrum. By filming inside the darkened interiors of baggage scanners in airports and museums, the work records the sensor’s exposure to X-rays and other laser-based optical sensing systems operating within these machines.
